We look forward to welcoming you back to BCBC!

The Church is to be known as a people who gather (1 Cor. 11:17; Acts 2:42)! The writer of Hebrews declared: And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25) While the size of those gatherings has varied from context to context, we have always gathered. And we will gather again. This time of separation has been a reminder that God has designed us for community.

We are so thankful for technology and all that it has allowed us to do while we could not physically meet at the church building. It has now been ten Sundays since we have been able to worship together as a congregation, and we are looking forward to coming back together again. But we want to come back to worship in a safe and responsible manner.

When will BCBC gather together again?

We will regather at the church building this Sunday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m.

Please make the health decisions that are best for you and your family. Many will choose to continue watching services via Zoom at 9:30 a.m. or on the BCBC YouTube channel or BCBC Facebook page after the morning gathering.  We plan to make our online worshipers feel as much a part of the worship as those in the auditorium. Especially if you are in a vulnerable population (elderly, and individuals with underlying health conditions or suppressed immune systems), we encourage you to stay at home and join us online.

Will we immediately return to our regular schedule?

We will begin with ONLY Sunday Morning Worship at 9:30 a.m. Small groups will continue meeting weekly at the small group leader’s home plus Zoom when necessary.

What will be done to “love our neighbor” in reference to COVID-19 & social distancing?

Following are the guidelines established by Boones Creek Bible Church for protection from the COVID-19 virus.  These guidelines are provided to help the members and visitors of BCBC know what to expect when they arrive at church and understand what precautions are in place to help in protection from the virus.

We will observe social distancing guidelines, spreading families and individuals at least six feet apart throughout the auditorium. Ushers will escort individuals/families to their seats, front to back, upon arrival. Please wait outside before coming in to be seated if your entire family has not arrived in order to sit together. Ushers will dismiss row by row, back to front, to exit following the service. Since there will be no children’s or teen ministries, families will stay together to worship.

  • Please use only the main entrance under the covering. All other doors will be locked.
  • We will have hand sanitizer readily available, as well as a limited number of masks. Wear a mask if desired.
  • Deacons and wives will be stationed at the Welcome Center and nearby to answer any questions.
  • No printed bulletins will be offered.  Please use Realm and email to stay connected.
  • We encourage the continued use of online giving. We have a Giving Box in the lobby to receive your offering. We will not pass offering plates.
  • There will be no coffee served at the church. You may bring your own in a container with a top.
  • All pew racks have been emptied.
  • We ask that you not congregate inside the building in the foyer, at the Welcome Center, or hallway. For fellowship, please use the outside patio or parking lot.
  • The gym including the nursery will not be open.  Babies and children are welcome in the auditorium for the service.  If any children need to be removed from the sanctuary during the service please use the lobby.  The counseling room next to the church office will be available for nursing mothers.

What precautions can people take when they come to BCBC?

We encourage everyone to take certain steps to protect themselves and others from the Coronavirus, flu, and other illnesses, including:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
  • Don’t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wear a mask if desired.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home if you are sick, or if you are in a vulnerable population (elderly, and individuals with underlying health conditions, or those with compromised immune systems).
  • Cover your cough or sneeze.
  • Disinfect objects and surfaces regularly.

Further Clarification

Please only use the main entrance.  One door will be identified as the entrance and a separate door will be used as the exit.

Please do not use any other entrances to the building and please do not enter the Sunday School building.

Once inside the church please do not congregate in the foyer.  Please proceed to the sanctuary.  One door will be identified as the entrance and a separate door will be used as the exit.  The offering plates will not be passed during the service.  A collection box will be located at the entrance of the sanctuary to collect offerings either before or after the service.

Inside the sanctuary every other pew will be marked as closed.  For smaller families, please sit near the ends of the pews so as to allow up to 2 families to sit on each pew still keeping appropriate social distancing.

After the service, please do not congregate in the sanctuary or foyer.  Please proceed to the parking lot.

Thank you for praying, for encouraging, for forbearing, for caring, and for growing in Christ during these interesting days!

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19).
